AI marketing platform Hightouch has significantly expanded its New York City presence, securing an 18,000-square-foot office lease at 275 Seventh Avenue in Midtown South. This move triples the company's footprint in the city and will serve as its primary operational hub for sales, engineering, finance, and executive teams.
Key Takeaways
Hightouch, a data and AI agent platform for marketing, has leased 18,000 square feet at 275 Seventh Avenue.
The new office occupies the entire 21st floor of the 28-story Art Deco building in Chelsea.
This expansion aims to better serve Hightouch's major clients who have significant operations in New York.
The company previously occupied smaller spaces in the area.
Strategic Expansion in the Heart of New York
Hightouch, headquartered in San Francisco, has chosen the vibrant Midtown South district for its expanded New York City operations. The new 18,000-square-foot space is located on the 21st floor of 275 Seventh Avenue, a prominent Art Deco building owned by Unite Here, an affiliate of the AFL-CIO. This strategic relocation signifies a major growth phase for the company, allowing it to accommodate its growing teams and better serve its client base.
Serving a Growing Client Base
Cherry Miao, Hightouch's chief financial officer, highlighted the importance of physical proximity to their key clients. "Many of our largest customers, the brands reinventing how they market with AI, have significant operations in New York," Miao stated. "You can’t replace being in the room with them, and our new office lets us do that at a much bigger scale." This expansion underscores Hightouch's commitment to fostering strong relationships and providing enhanced support to its New York-based clientele.
A New Chapter in Midtown South
The new office will house Hightouch's sales, engineering, finance, and executive departments, consolidating their New York operations under one roof. This move represents a significant upgrade from their previous, smaller offices located at 150 West 22nd Street and 110 West 27th Street. The building at 275 Seventh Avenue is already home to a diverse range of tenants, including software companies like Hibob, Auctor AI, and Epam, as well as media firms such as Crossmedia and Haymarket Media, placing Hightouch in a dynamic business environment.
Tishman Real Estate Services represented the building's ownership in the transaction, while CBRE's Alice Fair, Sacha Zarba, and Claire Pisano facilitated the lease on behalf of Hightouch. While specific lease terms and rental rates were not disclosed, the average asking rent for office space in Midtown South was approximately $79.86 per square foot in April.
